So, I still have about a month and a half until I leave for Reno with my Mom for our Spring Break art retreat, and I have been putting together elements of the doll that I want to do once I get there. So little bit by little bit I have begun to form an image of my doll. And this time around, I have a potential face.
I think all my practicing is finally coming together! And I am now starting to find my own style. I'm not into being super realistic, and I can't wait to begin painting her face. I think I want to go back to this picture and add some color. Not a lot, just a little to bring out the black. Ok, I know how that read, but I know what I mean in my head. LOL

Supernatural S6 E11: "Appointment in Samarra."
Ok, this episode was good, but predictable, but the predictability was necessary for the plot.
Oh and it guest stars the awesome Robert Englund! Love him on Bones the most.
Dean wants to make a deal with the Horseman, Death. The best Horseman in my opinion, although Famine was a close second.
Dean knows that Death is about one the most powerful things on Earth, and he knows that Death can get into Lucifer's cage and retrieve Sam's soul. Of course Death is reluctant, he is prideful and the oldest thing ever...so he doesn't really care about one piddly human's soul. He also tells Dean if he were to get Sam's soul back into his body, there might be horrible repercussions to Sam's mind. Since both Micheal the Archangel and Lucifer were stuck in there with it, they basically made the soul their punching bag. And Sam would be ruined if he were to get the memories of the soul in him.
Death and Dean make another deal.
Dean doesn't necessarily not care, he just wants his brother back. And Death tells him that he could put a memory block in Sam's mind to protect him. But the wall could come down anytime. Of course Sam hears all of this, and doesn't want his soul back.
That's when a new angel, Balthazaar, tells Sam that if he kills his father, he won't even be able to get his soul back. So Sam decides to try to kill Bobby.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Death agrees to Dean's deal, if Dean will wear his ring for a full 24 hours. Dean agrees, but he is not allowed to take it off, or the deal is up.
So this is where it get predictable, Tessa the Reaper from Season 2, and 4, shows up as a guide. Of course Dean has no trouble killing a would be robber, or watch a guy have a heart attack, but as soon as he's charged with killing a sick girl, he refuses. And then that leads to a whole bunch of predictable repercussions that leads him to take off the ring. And now he thinks he's ruined everything. But Death tells him that wasn't the point of the deal, that Dean learned what he was supposed to.
And so the episode ends with Death stuffing Sam's soul into him.
Oh yeah, Dean shows up right on time to save Bobby from Sam, of course.
This if off topic, but the CW just released a new promo poster for Supernatural, and I wish I could hang this one up in my room!
How awesome is that snake?!
Here's the promo for the newest episode airing this Friday(Happy Birthday Seth!) @ 9 on the CW, "Like a Virgin."
Oh and one last thing, congrats on winning the TV Guide Cover! I have my own copy!

Supernatural S6 E10: "Caged Heat."
So I have really fallen down on my duties. Eh, it's not like anyone reads these anyways, but this was supposed to be a way to get me to blog regularly. Oh well.
Meg and Castiel begin to kiss as Sam waits impatiently because he annoyingly has no soul.
So this episode aired over a month ago, and this is really where the storyline along the way of Sam's soul got into gear.
In order to get Sam's soul back, the brothers and Meg, and Castiel break into the place where Samuel is helping Crowley keep all the Alphas. Wow, I can't believe I remember this much...
And Meg and Castiel teaming up? What the heck! And we all don't like Meg because of what she did to...well, some people haven't seen that part yet...cough, cough, Mom...LOL
Anyway, so as they break in, the run around chasing things, and Crowley chasing them. I can't remember why, but Castiel kisses Meg, (he learned that from watching a porno...he didn't get it at all. That was a really funny moment.)
Oh yeah, now I remember why, Meg decided to stay back and fight the Hell Hounds that Crowley sent after them.
In the end, there's a big showdown between the brothers and Crowley, and somehow Meg shows up with Crowley's bones, and they kill him.
Decent episode, but the next one's even better!
Here's the preview for "Appointment in Samarra."

I Love Musicals!
So I just finished my stupid boring math lab, and while I was wading through it, I was, and still am, listening to the Wicked soundtrack. I'm listening to "For Good" right now to be specific, this one makes me cry most of the time that I listen to it. And it just reminds me of how much I love musicals and show tunes. Sweeney Todd, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, I can listen to those forever.
It's funny, I used to listen to these musicals a lot more then, than I do now. And I know why, when I would commute to Salem everyday for school, on dreary, wet, grey days, I would put on my show tunes, and sing my heart out to them. (Sunny days were reserved for classic rock, cause then I would roll down the window. LOL)
But now that I don't drive as much anymore, my show tunes time had been taken away. This blog is really random I know, but here, I'll put up my drawing of Elphaba to make a little bit art related. LOL
Oh, and Wicked is coming to Eugene this Spring. I have never seen it live, and would LOVE to go with someone. If anyone is interested? I know it's a long shot, but I want to see this one in the worst way!

I think I'm getting it!
So, the other day I was sitting on my bed, and I really wanted to practice my people drawing skills. If any of you know me, you know that I have big issues with people. I can draw horses, dragons, dinosaurs, and any kind of beast, but people put me to shame. It's embarrassing really. But I think part of it, is that I can't seem to find a style of person I want to draw. It seems most of my people are stuck in between the realm of realism, and cartoon-ary. (Eh, I don't think that's a word, but just go with it. LOL)
Anyway, as I started my doodle, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, it seemed to be someone I was actually liking. Because if you look at most of my people, their faces are either hidden:
Case in point, "Broken Angel #2"
Or in profile: Just look at any number of girls in my dresses, 2/3rd's are easily profile.
Hardly ever are they looking straight at you. But this time, I'm in love.
"Clever Girl," is neither too realistic, nor is she too cartoony, I'm truly in love. She took me all evening, I'm not saying this was easy, but I really enjoyed drawing her. And if any of you have any ideas as to what she is thinking at this particular moment, feel free to let me know. Because, I don't have a clue! LOL. Which is why she's titled as such. And it's also an homage to my favorite Jurassic Park character, Muldoon. I know. I really have issues. LOL
And a close up:
So, what do you guys think?

It's a New Year.
So...here I sit on the eve of my first day of Winter Term at OSU.
I wish that my first term had gone better, it went OK, but I'm really going to push myself this term...sigh...and I thought I pushed so hard last term. LOL
I'm taking fewer courses, I'm still full time, and all but one of my courses are required, but I figured that I need to sync myself better with OSU life yet. So I'm taking it easier.
I really can't wait to start my Intro to Fictional Writing Course and find myself praying that there's another level to it already. LOL The syllabus got me so excited. LOL. I know, I'm weird. I guess I really hope I can get some skills out of this class to make my stories better. In no way have I given up getting published. That is a huge dream of mine. It's just that I've put it on the back burner for now, because writing a query letter is so $##@$#@$#@ hard, and it's sooooo nerve wracking to submit one.
I guess this is a good time to update on my Dino alphabet book. As you well have guessed, I didn't get accepted. I submitted to about five different agencies, and got only one reply. And ever though it was a rejection, I still felt cool just for trying, and even getting a response. I keep telling myself that if Stephanie can do it, so can I.
I'm working on a new story now. It's more adult than my last Trilogy was. But still probably within the bounds of YA. I LOVE YA. It's about a girl who can experience the deaths of any dead bodies around her. So she becomes a coroner to catch murderers. But becomes fed up with the system when one murderer walks free, and decides to become a vigilante serial killer. Yeah. Dark I know. But writing her story is so fascinating. I love falling into the mind of one of my characters...it's intoxicating to lose myself so deeply. I can write for hours. I've done it before.
Shhhhh, this is a secret, but when I finished my second book in my Trilogy, I was on such a role, that I skipped my poetry class. LOL That was so long ago. Almost two years. But hey. It was great stuff. LOL And my adopted sister, Sarah, loved/hated that ending. Because I killed some people off. Sigh, I love writing.
Sarah's so great actually. Because without her The Society would have been nothing but one bored summer afternoon, which was about 20 pages of stuff that probably would have ended up deleted. LOL And now it's about 1,000 pages all together, and three books. I'm proud of just those facts alone.
Oh boy, look at that! I've gone off on such a huuuuuge tangent. HAHA, I have a gift for that as well.
Well, tomorrow's a school day, so good night!
